About Barry Mello

Barry Mello was born and raised in East Rockaway, NY.  He graduated from East Rockaway High and SUNY Oneonta. In 1994, he moved his family to Charlotte, NC.  He faithfully pastored in North Carolina for the next 12 years, leaving a lasting impact on his congregation and community before his passing in 2006.

Deep gratitude is extended to Barry’s late friend, Reverend Captain Stephen Paul Axtell, whose steadfast friendship and research support were invaluable throughout Barry’s journey.  Special thanks to Pastor Billy Mobley of Shiloh Advent Christian Church and the late Reverend Bobby Brock of Longs Grove Advent Christian Church.  Their friendship and support of Barry’s ministry was a witness of Christ’s love.
